The Chester Township Zoning Commission meets every
first and third Wednesday of the month at the Town Hall. The Zoning
Commission (ZC) constantly reviews the Resolution. They receive input from
all sources, from within the township, from the County, beyond the County,
and land use seminars. They study and research the input before making
recommendations on possible changes and modifications to the Resolution
before the Township Trustees. The ZC is made up of five (5) township
residents, each appointed for a term of five years, one each year, by the
Township Trustees. The ZC also has a secretary appointed by the ZC for the
main purpose of taking meeting minutes and to handle the administrative
duties for the commission. The current members are: Ms. Margaret Muehling
(chair), Mr. David Short (vice-chair), Ms. Ruth Aster, (member), Mr.
Clyde Horn (member), Ms. Linda Grimm (member), and Ms. Mary Lou Fende
(secretary).
